Icon Sets
If you want to display social media icons, go to WP Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Text. Drag Text onto the sidebar. Paste the following code into the box:
<a href="http://www.whatdoyouwanttolinkto.com"><img src="typetheurlofwhereourimageishere" BORDER=0></a> <a href="http://www.whatdoyouwanttolinkto.com"><img src="typetheurlofwhereourimageishere" BORDER=0></a> <a href="http://www.whatdoyouwanttolinkto.com"><img src="typetheurlofwhereourimageishere" BORDER=0></a> <a href="http://www.whatdoyouwanttolinkto.com"><img src="typetheurlofwhereourimageishere" BORDER=0></a> <a href="http://www.whatdoyouwanttolinkto.com"><img src="typetheurlofwhereourimageishere" BORDER=0></a> <a href="http://www.whatdoyouwanttolinkto.com"><img src="typetheurlofwhereourimageishere" BORDER=0></a> <a href="http://www.whatdoyouwanttolinkto.com"><img src="typetheurlofwhereourimageishere" BORDER=0></a> <A HREF="mailto:billselak@gmail.com?subject=Here's what I think about your website"><img src="http://billselak.com/images/quartziconpack/Email.png" BORDER=0></a>
Customize your links. After the href, type in where you want the person to go (ex- http://twitter.com/billselak). After img src, paste in the url/location of where the image is located online. Click save, and you’re set.
Smashing Magazine has some great (free)icon sets.
